April 9th // Day 85 // Filters

Yes, I missed yesterday.

Now, the diehard pros out there may disagree with this next statement, but I don’t care. My belief is, if you disagree, then you are looking at cell phone photography in the wrong light.

The statement is, “a big part of the fun of cell phone photography is playing around with the filters.”

How many old Kodak Brownie photos are now considered rare works of art? Sure, the sheer quantity of images being splashed across the intersphere is mind boggling. But guess what, it’s history in the making.

Anyways, here is one shot straight out if camera awesome, Awesomeized, and finally converted to a black and white using a filter called Love Note.

About Dave Wilson

I R Photog! Make Purdy Peectoors! Seriously though, I'm a photographer of many disciplines based in Edmonton, Alberta. I just love a great image, whether it's a penny on a sheet of ice or a $100,000 wedding ceremony or a puppy jumping for a frisbee.

Interesting shot. I wonder what was the photographers vantage point when snapping this one.
