January 12th – 2011 – History – Edmonton Photographer 365

I was feeling a bit odd today and a little bit in awe of a great many things.  So I decided to go on a bit of a quest in search of an item.  I sort of found what I was looking for in this little gadget.

I don’t know exactly what camera it is or when it was made.  There’s an embossed stamp on the back that says to use 120 film and that it was made in Toronto by Canadian Kodak company.  I think it’s pretty good condition for its age (I’d esitimate around 60 – 70 at least) and it even still has the takeup roll for the film.  Not sure I coudl fine any 120 roll film any more let alone get it developed without some cost involved but I intend to try one day soon.

About Dave Wilson

I R Photog! Make Purdy Peectoors! Seriously though, I'm a photographer of many disciplines based in Edmonton, Alberta. I just love a great image, whether it's a penny on a sheet of ice or a $100,000 wedding ceremony or a puppy jumping for a frisbee.
